Licensed in Germany in 2002 he completed his performance test in Germany in 2003 with outstanding marks and was awarded the highly sought after Group One status with the comments ‘elegant, elastic and eye-catching’. He has a fantastic temperament, and is owned, ridden and competed by an amateur rider who has recently moved to Australia. ‘Ritz’ will be out competing in Australia at PSG in 2011.

His youngstock have been Champion foals at the British Breeding Show, the British Hanoverian Show, and Reserve Champion at Royal Windsor Horse Show. One of his first crop of foals also won the Shearwater Young Horse National Qualifier at Wellington’s Premier League Show in 2007. His foals inherit his wonderful temperament, elegant looks and elastic paces – and his dark colour.
