Riverside connects the breeding lines of Rubinstein and Donnerhall, arguably the two most successful international dressage stallions when combined. Riverside's mother, St.Pr.St. Desiee is full sister to the stallion Donnerschlag, his grandmother Pirola is full sister to the sires Pik Bube I + II.

Riverside’s offspring have been chosen by many professional riders in Germany including Ellen Schulten-Baumer, Joern Kubelke and Fritz Fleischmann just to name a few. He is known to produce very high rideability and paces with lots of connection. His canter is an extreme highlight as is his ability to collect.
