Australian bred Hanoverian tops International Market

A new auction record price was set at the 2014 PSI Auction in Germany, on Sunday 7 December 2014. The 6 year old Australian bred Hanoverian, SPH Dante, set a record price selling for 2,800,000 euro to the Russian duo Elena and Sergej Knyaginichev, established clients of the PSI. SPH Dante (Welfenadel x Dormello) was bred and owned by Andrea Beatty from Saffron Stables, NSW Australia.

SPH Dante competed with great success in Australia under the guidance of his rider and trainer Rodney Martin, partner to Mathew Dowlsey. This meticulous training enabled SPH Dante to show his outstanding talent for piaffe and passage that many other SPH_Dantehorses will never achieve during their whole life. SPH Dante won the Australian Young Dressage Horse Championships as a 4, 5 and 6 year old and qualified for this year’s FEI World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden.

The Saffron Performance Horse team produced an Australian bred Hanoverian who has stepped up to the world stage and conquered the hearts of Europe.

HHSA congratulates Andrea Beatty of Saffron Performance Horses and Rodney Martin for pushing towards their dreams and producing an ideal Dressage horse for the highest levels of the sport.
